My name is Tracy Nabagesera, I am 19 years old, and I live with Epilepsy and an Intellectual Disability. Before I came to Mukisa Foundation, life was difficult. I was often unwell, experiencing frequent seizures with little access to proper healthcare. I felt weak, tired, and unsure of what the future held.
But everything changed when I joined Mukisa. I began receiving regular medical care and nutritious meals that helped me regain my strength.
Today, I am thriving in the Vocational Training Class, and I love it. My teacher, Tr. Ratifah is kind and patient. She guides me through many lessons, and I have even learned how to count. At home, I help my grandmother count money, something I am very proud of. I am also making new friends, learning practical skills, and growing more confident every day. What makes me even happier is that my mother now works at Mukisa, supporting other families just like ours. That means the world to me.
I feel healthier, happier, and more hopeful than ever before. Being at Mukisa Foundation has given me the chance to live, learn, and believe in my future.
