My name is Simon Peter Lutaaya. I was born on December 24th and live in Kosovo, just a short distance from Mukisa Foundation. I’m the eldest of five siblings.
I’ve been part of Mukisa since 2008, and since 2012, I’ve benefited from their home visit program—where a therapist comes directly to me. This support means everything, especially since public transport is both difficult and costly.
Despite my physical challenges, I use my feet for everything: feeding, dressing, and creating beautiful crafts like door mats and decorations. I even took all the photographs for our recent exhibition using only my feet. Mukisa has helped me turn limitations into possibilities
